I Wanna Be Where You Are

                                        

          
                                            Chapter 1: Not just a typical day   


"Brianna WAKE UP! you're gonna be late!" my mom screamed at me, I really didn't care if I was late or not I hated that school and usually my mom never came to wake me up I got up and stretched not caring if my mom was still in my room.

"Do I have to go to school?" I asked, pulling on my jacket at the front door
"Yes, you have to Brianna" my mom simply replied pushing me out the door 
"can't you give them a sick note mom?"  "No" "Bye mom" "Bye" I walked out the door irritated with my mom. 

I grabbed my car keys out of my backpack and unlocked the door to my car, throwing my backpack on the passenger seat I hate my mom sometimes she never gave me a break but it comes with kicks of choosing my mom instead of my dad.

When I got to the school, I saw Rachel, waiting for me near my locker she was smiling which made me suspicious of her a little  because she never smiles
" Hey Rachel, why are you smiling?" I asked while trying to unlock my locker
" Don't you know?" she asked me, not really answering my question
" Know what?" I asked stupidly finally getting my locker open
" you won the contest!" " what contest? I never signed up for any contest" "just go the principal she'll tell you about it" I sighed and walked to the principal's office  not finishing the conversation I was having with Rachel.

When I walked into her office I couldn't believe my eyes...
